I assumed this book was older since it was adapted as a movie recently. I was wrong, it was published as recently as 1995.
The book tells us the story of the rivalry between two illusionists. Each of them performs an illusion that the other can't seem to understand how it is done. I'll leave it at that because revealing the plot would really damage the experience of anyone willing to read the book.
The book differs from the movie in some points, but mainly in the ending. Oh the ending :) if you thought the movie was kind of dark, the ending of the book will leave you chilling!
I've recommended the movie before. And the book? Even if you have seen the movie, read it. IT IS AWESOME!!!!!
