Was expecting just a regular action movie, but I had a lot of fun. The movie manages to balance perfectly humour, action and seriousness. The acting is SUPERB in my opinion. I was never one to like Jude Law, but his Watson is very good. I'm a fan of Robert Downey Jr.'s work and his Holmes is also very good. Mark Strong delivers an intense Lord Blackwood.
I think one of the strong points of the movie is ambience: the lighting, the dirty environments, the buildings. I didn't know this was a Guy Ritchie movie but should have figured it out when the boxing part came on, as it had a very "Snatch" feeling to it.
Bottom line: funny, and very entertaining. I liked it :) Definitely worth watching!
